Info: After playing the 1st Horn part in Puccini’s one-act opera Suor Angelica and Gianni Schicchi, I was inspired by the blend of tonal elements, twentieth-century features, and the beautiful vocal melodies in the writing of this aria. The Other Side of The Ocean depicts a woman dreaming of crossing the Atlantic Ocean to America on the Titanic.
